Aura cosmetics is the kind of makeup that you want to buy over and over again. I recently came across the small Sunshine Coast based cosmetic brand, and I can safely say I will be going back for more.
Aura cosmetics is the kind of makeup you feel good about buying. It’s 100% vegan and cruelty free, and is mineral and plant based. So not only is it amazing for your skin, it is also kind to the earth and the animals. Unfortunately, so many cosmetic brands will label their products as natural and organic, yet they will still use harmful methods of production, which is why Aura is so amazing! I know what you’re thinking, so what’s the price tag with all of these amazing added benefits?! In actual fact, the products are very affordable. So pretty much, these are cosmetics that are amazing for your skin, good for the earth, and won’t break the bank.
For quite some time I have been looking for a great bronzer that wasn’t too dark, and offered a natural matte finish. Many bronzers are overpowering and a little too shiny, but if you’re looking for a natural finish, then look no further than the radiant pressed bronzer ($25) from Aura. Naturally hydrating and packed with a number of vitamins and minerals, this has become my new everyday product, and I have been swapping it for my blush for a more bronzed look for throughout Summer.
The semi-matte lipstick is the next product I tested, and I love the semi-matte feature of the product. We all want a lipstick that will last, but my biggest annoyance with most lipsticks is that their matte feature leaves a crumbly and dry feeling on my lips after long wear. The ingredients in this particular lipstick ensure this doesn’t happen, and instead your lips are left feeling hydrated with long-lasting colour.
Last but not least, let me introduce you to the Kabuki Brush, which is a must for any girl that loves her makeup. It’s hard to choose, and I don’t want to play favourites, but this may have been my favourite product of them all. It is super soft, and applies your makeup beautifully, leaving an even and perfected finish. What’s more, it’s only $25.
